BHA in focus: Professional duo for clear pores and sebum control

The Professional collection introduces two new products for skin prone to clogged pores, blackheads, and imperfections. Micropeeling BHA Gel for the Second Step of Facial Cleansing and Micropeeling BHA Face Serum are designed to provide an effective yet simple skin purification routine, with active ingredients that have been the gold standard for oily and combination skin care for years.

Salicylic acid as the main active ingredient

The main active ingredient in both products is 2% salicylic acid (BHA), the maximum allowed concentration in cosmetic products. Unlike AHA acids, which primarily act on the skin's surface, salicylic acid is oil-soluble. This allows it to penetrate pores, dissolve excess sebum, and help remove accumulations of dead cells that lead to the formation of blackheads, whiteheads, and pimples. The formulas are further enriched with Centella asiatica extract, known for its soothing properties.

Gel for the second cleansing step

After an oil cleanser or balm, the new Micropeeling BHA Gel fits perfectly as the second step in facial cleansing. Its gentle gel texture effectively removes residual impurities and excess sebum that may remain on the skin after the first cleanse, while also providing exfoliation thanks to 2% salicylic acid. After thorough rinsing, continue with your usual skincare, but skip additional exfoliation. Depending on skin needs, it can be used daily or occasionally.

Serum for targeted action

For an additional step in the evening routine, there is the Micropeeling BHA Serum. This liquid exfoliant with 2% salicylic acid and 1% tranexamic acid specifically targets clogged pores, imperfections, and uneven skin tone. The serum is applied in the evening to clean, dry skin before moisturizer. It is recommended to start with application three times a week, then adjust the frequency according to skin tolerance.

Who are they intended for?

The new Professional Micropeeling BHA products will be particularly suitable for:

  • combination and oily skin
  • skin prone to blackheads and whiteheads
  • skin with enlarged and clogged pores
  • skin prone to occasional or more frequent imperfections
  • anyone who desires a more even and clearer complexion

For very sensitive, irritated, or actively inflamed skin, it is recommended to avoid using products with salicylic acid. They are also not recommended during pregnancy or in cases of hypersensitivity or allergy to salicylic acid.
